Maths and Fairtrade week has begun really well.  The Fairtrade shop was a great event, with children arriving to complete different challenges and the Year 6's acting as shopkeepers.  It was tricky to find 2 items that totaled exactly £5.20, but the Year 3's were on it! 

Years 2 and 4 got together for a great session of game playing in the hall as well, sharing their maths skills and knowledge with others.  The teachers joined in too and although it was very noisy, it was very exciting and lots of maths was being practised.

We are looking forward to more excitement as the week continues.
