Memory Bubbles-March 23rd
To commemorate the year gone by since the country first went into lockdown- due to Covid -19, Elfrida primary school led assemblies which allowed the children to remember March 23rd 2020.
Staff and children released bubbles into the sky which represented the people who sadly lost their lives or loved ones to this terrible virus.
Moving forward, the children will be writing their memories of the year, and their future hopes and dreams for a time capsule- which will be buried in the school grounds.
Let's all hope for a better year.

New- Year 2,3,4 gate organisation
In order to continue to keep the community safe, Ms Newton and volunteer parents have organised a change for the year 2,3,4 gate.
Parents will now need to line up when leaving and collecting their children. This will ensure safety on the road, social distancing and speedier collections.
Watch the video below to find out what has now been put in place for parents of children at this gate. Thank you in advance for your continuous support.

Diversity Awareness Month!
At Elfrida Primary School we embrace our community, welcome all and strive to be inclusive in all that we do. In order for us to continue to be successful in doing this, we are updating our curriculum so that it reflects our school community.
To introduce our new curriculum, this month we are celebrating diversity, to teach and remind children of the positive impact a diverse culture of people can have on society as a whole. We are naming this special month-Diversity Awareness Month!
For children to learn more about each other’s heritage and background, we have created homework/competition tasks below to help the children celebrate this month. Parents: we have a task for you to join in with too!
All homework tasks need to be in to school by: Friday 16th October so they can be shared before the end of the term and celebrated!
