At Elfrida Ms Heat leads on PE teaching and learning.

Physical Education (PE)

Physical Education is an essential part of school life and children have the opportunity to develop a variety of skills, confidence and self-esteem through a wide range of sporting activities.

We have a sports coach who works with us weekly, developing both the children’s and the teachers' skills. 

The PE curriculum extends beyond the school day and a varied selection of extra-curricular clubs is offered during the school week.

Year 3 children have weekly swimming lessons at The Bridge Leisure Centre.

Sports day is a very important event in the school calendar and this is held annually at Sedgehill sports fields.
