Success for today; prepared for tomorrow. Nothing is beyond our reach.

Dough Disco

What is Dough Disco?????

Dough Disco is a high tempo, high energy session with play dough.

It is designed to encourage maximum participation and the sessions are created for all levels of ability.

Children develop fine motor muscles by manipulating the dough in a variety of ways, which in turn helps to improve their mark making and writing.

Disco Dough helps to strengthen children's fine motor muscles to enable them to develop their pencil grip which in turn will help to develop their writing skills. But most of all it's fun!

We use playdough to music, copying the specific hand movements and focusing on different areas of the fingers and hands

You will find the videos we use in Nursery when we do Dough Disco. If you have any play dough at home, you could give it a go yourself!

Dough Disco

The Wheels on the Bus is a classic nursery rhyme and has been updated with Dough Disco! Take a window seat, join in with the singing and finger dancing with Shonette as the bus driver!
