What better way to practice our measuring and reading as making delicious Hot cross buns!
We have been studying the rainforest! To teach us about the weather in rainforests, we made our own 'Rainforest in a bottle' terrariums. We can see the water cycle at work and the pistachio shells give it nutrients, so it is its own self sufficient ecosystem!
We have had a fantastic book week! We did an author focus on Julia Donaldson and looked at Monkey Puzzle, The Gruffalo and the Snail and the Whale. We did yoga and soundscapes for Monakey Puzzle and lots of acting and hotseating for the snail and the Whale. Eucalyptus class absolutely loved the visit from the wacky 'Wizard stories' men too. Check out our magical book character costumes!
