Welcome back to the start of a new year at Saplings Nursery. We hope everyone has had a relaxing summer break and you are looking forward to the exciting year ahead. We would like to welcome all of our new families that will be joining us over the next few weeks. We look forward to getting to know you and your children.
Hopefully you would have seen the exciting building works taking place at the Nursery. I am sure you will agree that once the works are finished the new Nursery building will be a wonderful space for the children to learn. We will of course keep you updated with any news regarding the build and when we will be moving back. In the meantime, please do continue to bring your children into the temporary classroom, which used to be Year 1 Cedar Class. See below for the new arrangements for dropping off and collecting your child.

Please find below the curriculum leaflet for Autumn 1. If you have any questions about what your child will be learning this half term, please do come and speak to a member of the nursery team
Reading books in Nursery
Please do feel free to choose a book to take home and share with your child. Encourage your child to listen to you read and speak about what happened in the story or what they liked (or didn't like!) about the book.
These are some of the texts we will be using to explore different themes in Nursery. Please feel free to read them at home if you have them or look out for them on our home book stand.
