London Week
The last week of June was cultural heritage week at Elfrida. This year we chose to focus on London and all of its rich history. Across the school children learnt different things about London. Year 1 learnt all about the great fire, Year 3 learnt about a day in the life of the Queen and Beech class went to visit the site of the former Crystal Palace.
There was a competition for children to make London landmarks and the week ended with an international cafe where the food literally flew off the tables!
Thank you to everyone who took part in the competition or who brought food and thank you to Miss Oke and Miss Griffiths for all of their organisation.
