    Nursery Places for September 2021

     

     

    Dear Parents / Carers,

     

    Expression of Interest for 15 hour and 30 hour places at Elfrida Primary School’s Saplings Nursery

     

    During the Summer Term we will be allocating nursery spaces according to our Nursery Admissions Policy.

     

    We currently have vacancies for two year olds born between 01/01/2019 – 31/08/2019 to start nursery in September 2021. If you have the two year old eligibility letter and would like to be considered for a place in our nursery please contact the office to put your child’s name on our waiting list or visit the Admissions section on the website. Closing date 31 May 2021

     

    If you do not have the 2 year old eligibility yet, but think you meet the criteria for a 2 year old place, you can still express your interest. However, please note that any offers made will be subject to our receipt of a valid 2 year old eligibility letter.

    If you do not have a 30 hour code yet, but think you meet the criteria for a 30 hour place, you can still express your interest. However, please note that any offers made will be subject to our receipt of a valid 30 hour code.

  • Food projects open during Easter

    The Giving Life Food Project

    Pepys Resource Centre, Deptford Strand.  London SE8 3BA. Open Saturdays between 11.30am-1pm.  For anyone in need in the local area.  Run by the Christ Embassy Church.

     

    FoodCycle Lewisham

    Providing a takeaway vegetarian meal from 2-3pm on Saturdays at Lewisham Irish Community Centre, 2a Davenport Rd, Catford SE6 2AZ from Saturday 12th of September.  Guests will need to register and leave a contact number for track and trace. Extra parcels from Catford Fridge.

     

     

    UCKG Soup Kitchen

    UCKG Help Centre 1 Bromley Road Catford, SE6 2TS 020 8698 3612.  Saturdays 11am-2pm, continuing with provision of home cooked soup, meals, and surplus food such as sandwiches, bread and milk to choose from and takeaway.  Meat and veg options.

     

     

    Monday 5th April

    Rehoboth Community Outreach -   11am-1pm

    Ray Champion Room, 1-18 Allwood Close, SE26 4JP.  They can arrange deliveries for over 60s and families who would struggle to attend. Call 07946354617.

  • Red Nose Day and Science Week FUN!!

    Elfrida pupils have been busy this week- celebrating Science Week by doing lots of interactive science experiments and designing lab coats all thanks to Ms Holland.

    Gracie (yr 2) created a fantastic lab coat which included pockets which held real pens-impressive!! 

     

    The week ended with "Make me laugh" Red Nose Day where the children all dressed in red to raise money for charity. Tommy (yr 4) done a great job in designing his own funny joke t-shirt-well done Tommy!!

  • Food bank closure during Easter

    Dear Referral Parents/Carers,

     

    Lewisham Food bank Office, Centres and Warehouse will all be closed on Good Friday 2nd April and Easter Monday 5th April 2021.

     

    If you are issued an e-voucher during the week leading up to Easter- please find alternative food banks to collect food parcels from during this time.
