Parents evening is on Monday 13th and Wednesday 15th October

They are 5 minute slots to discuss how your child has settled into Reception. If you would like a longer appointment, or you require a different day, please do speak to Mez and this can be arranged.

Welcome to Reception and to Acacia Class!

Class Teacher: Mez (Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri), Mel (every Tuesday)

Support Staff: Ms Loomes and Ms Kelly

Monday - Thursday: 8.45am - 3.15pm

Friday: 8.45am - 2.15pm

Everyday, your child will need to bring in......a water bottle (no juice please) and their reading folder. 

Please label jumpers, cardigans, fleeces and coats

This first half term we will be focusing on......

- Children settling into a new class

- Children forming relationships with adults and peers

- Children feeling secure in their new environment

- Children exploring all areas of learning

- Children learning classroom routines and expectations

- Children being confident and happy

- Children speaking about themselves and their families

- Children beginning daily phonics sessions

As stated in the information above, please do not worry if your child has the same book for more than one week. We need to make sure that your child is secure before moving them on. Adults in school will support this.
