Final day at Arethusa

The children all slept well last night and were asleep a lot earlier than the night before! Getting up was a little trickier this morning!

After another good breakfast they have headed off for a woodland walk through the trees in the bright sunshine. They have been so lucky with the weather!

Team games were the final activity before the children headed into lunch.

We are looking forward to seeing them back very soon!

Home Journey Day 2

Today the Year 4's on home journey had an exciting trip to Sedgehill to learn how to do trampolining and to play football on the Astro pitch.

In the afternoon they had a great creative session with Miss Hadjipetrou. Ask the children who Paul Klee was.....

Lots of excitement still at Arethusa! The children have enjoyed their first night away, although there are predictions for some tired children this morning as the boys have been up since half past 5!

A day of climbing, archery, high ropes and swimming awaits!

Not to be outdone by their classmates, the Year 4's who have stayed at school have had an amazing day today. It started with a trip to Greenwich and a cable car ride (for the bravest) across the Thames to the O2.

At the O2, there was a lot of excitement in the innovation station as the children explored many new activities! A play in the park ended the day and everyone returned tired, yet happy to school. More excitement to come tomorrow!
