This term  we will  find out  about different tropical lands and learn about the different animals that live in these places.  We  will also look into how to design and make an Island home using a variety of recyclable materials. Additionally, we will sing chants and rhymes from around the world.  This term we will be reading exploring the texts Clean Up!  And Me on the Map.

In Year 1 this half term we will be focusing on 2D and 3D shapes as well as counting forwards, backwards in ones, twos, fives and tens and also reading and writing two digit numbers.

In Reception, children will focus on counting forwards and backwards and have a greater understanding of numbers to 10 and exploring patterns.
