## What's the best thing about being in Maple class?

#### Reading - Children are still expected to read aloud to an adult at least 10 minutes per day. Adults are asked to write a comment in their child’s Wow Book which must be brought in every day.

P.E. days: Wednesday

**P.E. Kit**: White T-shirt, Black shorts, trainers/tracksuit in colder weather.

No earrings are to be worn on these days.

Please note that no jewellery is to be worn for PE and that it is important that the children have the correct shoes.

In Years 3-6 cards will be turned for no PE kits.

**Swimming time: **

**Maple**- 10:30am - 11:30am on Thursday.

Swimming will take place at The Bridge leisure centre.

Children need: swimming costume/short trunks, swimming hat, goggles and towel**. **No earrings please.

**Home Learning – Homework is set on Fridays and is due on the following Wednesday. Children will normally be given weekly spellings/times tables/writing/maths**

*In Years 3-6 cards will be turned for no homework. *
