Cypress - Year 4

Welcome To Cypress Class Spring Term!

Hello Everyone.

Welcome to spring Term in Cypress Class.

This half term promises to be a most exciting one! Many of the children prepare to embark on their mid-school journey to Arethusa whilst the others get ready to experience fun and exciting activities and excursions during this time.

This term the topic for Year 4 is called 'European Friends'Through this the children will explore who their European neighbours are and what exciting cultural practices and history they have.

This half term the children looked at adding and multiplication during fair trade week in Cypress class.

Hello and Welcome Back!

It's great to see all the children back and I am impressed with the great start they have already made! This term the children are learning about the Romans and have been looking at the life of Julius Caesar; and the Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire in literacy! (See the slideshow below)

They have lots of fun ahead of them with this topic as they and will be creating shields in D.T and Art, having a Roman feast and visiting the British History Museum, to consolidate their learning towards the end of the term.
