WOW books will be collected in every Monday and given back on Tuesday. Please ensure your child is writing or drawing a picture in their WOW books at least once a week.  I am still getting WOW books handed in with no work or not handed in at all.

 

Reading books will be changed on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  The books that children take home are now being recorded. They will not be able to take any new books home until the books they have taken are returned to school.

 

Children go to the School Library every Thursday to change their Library books.

 

Homework and spellings will be given out on Friday. Homework is due back on Wednesday and there will be a spelling quiz every Friday morning. Please remember to keep your spellings at home so your child can practice them every day.

 

Children who hand in homework on Monday's will get 100 house points and on a Tuesday 50 house points and on Wednesday 10 house points.

 

We are also doing a BIG MATHS BEAT THAT addition challenge.  The children are give 120 seconds to complete as many addition and multiplication problems as possible.  We set the challenge on Monday and practice again on Friday to see if they can beat their previous score or time.
