Year 2 Expectations Meeting 14/9/18
Welcome to Magnolia class 
Homework will go home every Friday and will be collected the following Wednesday.
WOW books will be checked every Thursday. Please make sure that your child read the books and did two WOW book entries (children on Pink, Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, and Orange books should read the books a few times during the week)
In the WOW book you will also find all spelling lists for this term. We will test if they children learnt the spellings every Friday. Practise your spellings in your WOW book.
On Thursdays, we will go to our school library.
PE kits should be on children's pegs throughout the whole school year.
British Film Institute Trip

Today Year 2 travelled to London's Southbank to the BFI.
They participated in a workshop where they were taught how to draw Mickey Mouse and how to predict what might happen next in some short films.
The day ended with a showing of The Gruffalo, which was really enjoyable!
Remember to ask your children about it and what they enjoyed the most...they could even teach you how to draw Mickey too! 
Check out our fantastic polar bears! We used charcol and watercolour paints to creat them :)
