  • Exciting News: Free Breakfast Clubs Coming to Our School This Summer!

    Tue 01 Apr 2025

    We have exciting news!

We are excited to be part of the government’s breakfast club early adopter scheme, which is funding universal breakfast clubs in up to 750 primary schools. From summer term 2025, free breakfast clubs will be available in early adopter schools, as part of a test and learn phase, so that the government can plan for a full national roll-out of universal breakfast clubs in primary schools.

As part of the offer, Elfrida Primary School will offer 30 minutes only of childcare alongside a free breakfast. The club is open to all pupils from reception to Year 6. This will start at 8:30 am and will be able to be accessed via the Year 5/6 gate.

If you are thinking of sending your child, please complete our initial survey to support us in the essential feedback and also help us with how many children we expect to see at our provision. The survey can be found here:

Not to worry, we still have our paid provision from 7:30am! Please find more information on our Breakfast Club Page
